My Approach
My Experience
Over the past ten years, I have worked with a diverse range of clients in my private practice. My practice consists of families, adolescents, and adults of all ages. I have a lot of experience working with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It is rewarding to witness the growth and progress of my clients as they work towards healing and self-discovery.
My career began in a juvenile hall, where I provided therapy and support to young individuals navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system. This experience taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and understanding when working with at-risk youth. In addition, I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and marginalized communities. This experience has deepened my understanding of the impact of social determinants on mental health and the importance of culturally competent care.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to promoting mental health and wellness for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances. I believe in the power of therapy to facilitate healing, growth, and empowerment, and I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their full potential.

Emily Yang, MS, NCC
Professional Counselor Associate
My Approach
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy, fostering a space of authenticity, trust, and safety. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, so I integrate various therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique journey. These include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy.
Above all, I strive to create an environment where you can bring your full self—your joys, struggles, and everything in between. I believe in the power of shared healing, self-discovery, and re-imagining your story with hope and clarity.
My Experience
My journey toward becoming a therapist began with my own spiritual and cultural deconstruction, which gave me firsthand experience with anxiety, depression, and the complexities of identity. As a second-generation Taiwanese American woman, I have navigated the grief that comes from institutional religious and emotional trauma, deepening my commitment to advocacy and healing.
Through my work, I have helped individuals process complex emotions, make meaning of their experiences, and reconnect with themselves in a way that fosters growth and self-acceptance. I believe uncertainty can bring clarity, our stories are nuanced, and healing is a collective process.

Dana Fears, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor/Supervisor
My Approach
I take a holistic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and BrainSpotting. I believe in the power of transformation and see myself as a guide in helping clients reclaim their personal strength and healing.
My Experience
I specialize in working with individuals facing deep grief, attachment wounds, and disability empowerment. Many of my clients are survivors of childhood trauma, navigating loss, codependency, or chronic health concerns. My career began in school and community-based therapy, later transitioning to adult-focused work in grief, trauma, and disability advocacy. As an approved supervisor candidate in Oregon, I also provide clinical supervision for counseling associates.
My path to therapy is shaped by my own experiences overcoming bullying, domestic violence, cancer, substance abuse, and mental health challenges, as well as growing up with an autistic parent. These experiences fuel my passion for helping others heal. I am a two-time cancer survivor, past recipient of the Elie Wiesel Ethics Award, and deeply involved in my community. I enjoy art, writing, traveling, and volunteering with my husband and daughter.
